Dear Member

Join us for our first event of 2025 - Exploring the New Procurement Act on Tuesday 4 February, 9.30am to 12.00pm.

The Procurement Act is a new law that creates a new and improved set of procurement regulations. The development of the Act was prompted by the UK leaving the EU in 2020 and intends to create a simpler, more flexible, commercial system that better meets the country’s needs, while remaining compliant with international obligations. In April 2024 the Cabinet Office's announced an intended “go-live” of October 2024, but that has subsequently been delayed to late February 2025.

Our speakers are:

  • John Simons, Group Procurement Director - Scape
  • Louise Bennett, Senior Associate, Government and Infrastructure - Browne Jacobson

What we will cover:

  • The Act and the changes for customers
  • Benefits & impact
  • How do we need to adapt
  • Support mechanisms
  • The additional Notices that will be required
