We are delighted to invite you to join us for what will be fascinating presentations and debate about this ever changing subject.

This breakfast event will take place on Tuesday 29th November, 8.00am to 10.30am at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

Our speakers include:

  • Jim McArdle - Sero Homes - he will talk about Sero Homes BEE (Building Energy Engine) and the Sero Life App which manages renewable techs - solar, heat pumps, battery to minimise carbon emissions and energy costs by using energy from the cheapest source – solar or the battery, or using grid electricity at the lowest off-peak cost.
  • Professor Lucelia Rodrigues, Chair of Sustainable and Resilient Cities and Head of Department of Architecture and Built Environment – University of Nottingham – she will talk about the latest research on carbon emissions reduction in housing, looking at carbon-cost effectiveness of both building fabric and heating systems.
  • Professor Mark Gillott, Professor of Sustainable Building Design and a member of the Buildings, Energy and Environment research group – University of Nottingham – he will talk about the future of the grid and using vehicle to grid and vehicle to home tech with car batteries and solar PV to help manage the load on the grid and reduce home energy costs

We will open the discussion to attendees as well so do bring along your questions and join in.
