Blocwork - a joint venture between Bloc and Network Rail  -  set out to deliver a high-quality Private Rented Sector (PRS) scheme in a key gateway location next to Nottingham railway station.

The challenge

Our role
Marrons led the planning strategy, bringing together planning, transport heritage and environmental inputs to shape a scheme capable of securing consent and being delivered in practice.

The Barnum is now complete and occupied – a landmark addition to Nottingham’s skyline and a step-change in the city’s PRS offer.
