Digital Open Event at the Willmott Dixon BIM Cave - 4.15pm to 6.00pm

Join us for our Digital Open Sessions at the Willmott Dixon Nottingham office which is home to their new 270degree immersive BIM Cave.

You will be able to find out more about the latest in digital construction tech and how it aids the design process, helps validate drawings and adds value for customers - as well as getting the opportunity to try some of it out for yourself.What can you expect to see:

• Mattaport - understand more about Mattaport and how it can be used through the project, from giving customers a @Google Street View' of their building to strengthening PR and assisting with asset management
• Laser Scanner - find out more about laser scanning and how it's used to demonstrate the importance of validating onsite works and ensuring handover drawings area accurate
• Virtual Reality - for those that struggle to fully understand 2D drawings, the Willmott Dixon BIM Cave and VR headsets help to bridge the gap. Come and try out viewing models and interacting with components in an immersive environment and understand more about the challenges 3D VR has overcome

We are still very conscious of social distancing and therefore numbers for these sessions are limited.
