We have been given a fantastic opportunity to explore inside the amazing heritage buildings that form part of the Island Quarter site. But places are limited and you must provide your own FULL PPE.

Designed by legendary Nottingham architect T.C. Hine, two stunning Victorian warehouse buildings lie at the beating heart of The Island Quarter in Nottingham: the James Alexander warehouse and the Grade II listed Great Northern, a corn warehouse built in 1857 for the Great Northern Railway.

Boasting great significance to Nottingham’s rich history of industry, commerce and innovation, The Conygar Investment Company PLC - the developer behind The Island Quarter - is looking to revitalise these buildings as key heritage aspects of its 36-acre masterplan. These buildings have phenomenal opportunities to be regenerated for meanwhile and long-term uses of Nottingham, for Nottingham.

You will get a close-up view of the incredible graffiti that now lines the walls of these remnant structures that have fallen into disrepair - having laid derelict for three decades. You will also have chance to hear from the project delivery team about how these warehouses feed into ongoing plans for the development of the wider site.

Tours will last for approximately an hour with a half hour before and after for refreshments.

FULL PPE must be worn and provided by you. This includes hard hat, high vis jacket, steel toe capped boots or similar suitable footwear and gloves. If you do not have these on the day you will be turned away from the tour.
