Being a responsible business underpins everything we do; since 2012 we have been carbon neutral and were the only company from our industry to receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development in 2014. We invest over £2m each year on training our staff and employ over 100 management trainees and 64 apprentices.

Through our Construction business we deliver non-residential projects. That includes building projects in education, leisure and culture, hotels, offices, custodial, health, retail, national frameworks for Government and local authorities. Through innovations like Sunesis, Willmott Dixon’s suite of standardised designs for education, leisure and the care sector, clients save up to 30% on building costs, without compromising on quality.

Within the Midlands, we employ over 300 people and have offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Oxford. Our current projects in Leicestershire include the new Centre for Medicine for the University of Leicester and St Mary’s Fields Infant and Nursery School for Leicester City Council. We also refurbished the award winning City Hall for Leicester City Council in 2014. Our relationship with Leicestershire County Council started back in 2004 and we have delivered over £100m educational facilities for them, including Ashmount School, which was awarded the Leicester Mercury School of the Year in 2014.
