Cartwright Communications expands with Birmingham office launch
A PR agency has expanded its presence in the Midlands by opening a second office. Nottingham-based Cartwright Communications has gone west by launching a new operation in Birmingham city centre.
The new office at Two Chamberlain Square will be led by account director Amelia Walker and senior account manager Jo Kendall who previously worked together with Cartwright's director Rose Hayes. Ms Walker joined the agency last year, having previously worked at firms across Birmingham including WPR and Grayling while Ms Kendall began her career in the city before moving to London and Bristol prior to joining Cartwright earlier this year.
The new-look Birmingham team is completed by account manager Huma Whitehouse and account executive Shreya Suresh and the quartet will serve a variety of clients including construction contractor Willmott Dixon and housebuilder Lovell Homes.
Ms Walker said: "From joining the team last year to now opening the doors of this new Birmingham office in the heart of the city centre, we have moved swiftly to ensure that Cartwright can grow in the region and attract even more PR, digital and marketing expertise. Birmingham is a thriving city for both business and culture, with talent in abundance, making it the perfect second home for the business.
"I am so excited about what the future holds for Cartwright in Birmingham and everything we will do next."
Ms Hayes added: "It has been an exciting time for Cartwright Communications over the past few months, topped off by the opening of our Birmingham office. All three of us worked together previously and it's always been our aim to reunite to use our combined B2B and B2C expertise to grow something of our own.
"We've always been proud of the work we do across the West Midlands and opening an office here was the next logical step as we look to both support our existing clients and expand into new markets. We're delighted to have Amelia's knowledge and expertise leading the team in the new office - her and Jo make a formidable pair and are perfectly placed to help us grow our offering across the region."
