Housebuilder Lovell kicks off the new football season with sponsorship of Coalville’s Heather St John’s FC
Leading housebuilder Lovell has announced a new two-year sponsorship agreement with Heather St John’s Football Club in Coalville.
Lovell is investing £2,400 in the grassroots club and will be the main stand sponsor at its home ground, St John’s Park, located on Ravenstone Road in Heather.
The housebuilder is currently building 146 high-quality new homes at Swinfen Vale in Ellistown, Coalville, and this new partnership forms part of the company’s commitment to supporting the local communities in which it builds.
Heather St John’s chairman, Simon Brindley, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lovell as a sponsor of Heather St John’s FC. This investment will provide valuable support for the club and help us continue creating a welcoming environment for our players, supporters and the wider community.
“Partnerships with businesses investing in the local area are extremely important to clubs like ours, and we look forward to building a successful relationship with Lovell.”
Lovell’s £42m Swinfen Vale development forms part of the wider South East Coalville masterplan led by strategic land developer Harworth Group.
The first homes at the development went on sale in July and the first residents are due to move into their new homes this autumn. The overall build is expected to be complete by Summer 2030.
Lovell Homes regional sales director, Dawn Bennett, said: “We are proud to support Heather St John’s FC and become the club’s main stand sponsor. As we create new homes at Swinfen Vale, it is important to us that we also contribute to the wider Coalville community. Heather St John’s FC plays an important role in bringing together players, supporters and families through football and we hope our investment will make a positive contribution.”
