Release of Exclusive Riverside Homes at Trent Basin

Published 13th May 2019 by ProCon Nottinghamshire

Eight of the most eagerly anticipated waterfront homes are being released at Trent Basin for the formal launch of the new riverside show home.

A mix of three and four-bedroom, three storey homes and the iconic Tower House – all with uninterrupted views over the River Trent and the Hook Nature Reserve – will finally be released at a weekend long open event.

These contemporary homes, which are priced from £420,000, each have a flexible open plan ground floor for living and dining, an open air roof terrace, enclosed south-facing patio and unique winter garden that features retractable windows so you can enjoy the feeling of outdoor living whatever the weather.

All homes have spectacular views over The Hook Nature Reserve and home owners will be able to watch life along the River Trent pass by their window, or choose to dive straight in and paddle by their new home. Despite the tranquil waterside, Trent Basin is also just 10 minutes away from Nottingham city centre, with its shops, bars, restaurants. A completely unique location that connects the city with the river.

All of the riverfront homes will be released for sale at 11.00a.m. on Saturday 18th May, as the doors of a new Trent Basin showhome are opened for the start of an open weekend for Nottingham’s newest waterside neighbourhood.

The new showhome, which sits among the waterfront homes, showcases the latest in interior design. Territory Interior Design of Manchester have furnished and decorated throughout using a palette of slate green, terracotta, warm creams and grey. They have also utilised tactile, textured natural materials to complete the look, all inspired by the natural, tranquil environment found directly on its doorstep. Mood boards showing the evolution of the design for the home will also be on display for those with an interest in interiors, together with source details for wallpaper, paint, furniture and accessories.

During the open weekend, visitors will also have the opportunity to view the remaining two-bedroom mews house and the only available penthouse apartment, which boasts dual aspect views over the river and historic basin. Early details of the new homes will also be released over the same weekend, and Sam from the Brew Bird mobile coffee team will be on hand serving up artisan coffees.

Samantha Veal is Chief Executive of Blueprint, the award-winning developer of Trent Basin: “It is always a pleasure to open our doors and introduce new visitors to the Trent Basin way of life. We find that residents have been quick to create a sense of community and embrace the lifestyle choices that a riverside location offers. It can be a wonderfully calm and quiet environment, with opportunities for cycling, walking and waterborne fun. Equally the sights and services of a buzzing city centre are just minutes away – no need to compromise for those really looking for the very best of both worlds.

“We have fielded enquiries for our riverfront homes since plans for Phase 2 were shared 2 years ago. Now we are finally releasing them for reservation – and purchasers can expect to move in for the summer – perfect timing.”

The open event will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May, from 11am to 4pm on both days. More information about the new homes available at Trent Basin can be found at the website www.trentbasin.co.uk or contact agents FHP Living on 0115 841 1155 or Royston & Lund on 0115 981 1888.
