WEBINAR - Net Zero Carbon - Policy and Playbook

Hear from John Alker, Director of Policy and Places at the UK Green Building Council who will talk about net zero carbon policy but with some technical explanations of priorities highlighted within the Playbook, including:

• Setting targets for reducing energy use intensity
• Minimising the performance gap between modelled and actual EUI
• Measurement and reduction of embodied carbon – particularly upfront embodied carbon
• Low carbon energy supply

Also Wayne Bexton, Director of Carbon Reduction, Energy and Sustainability at Nottingham City Council and Anna Dodd, Energy and Sustainability Manager at Leicester City Council will talk about their respective plans and strategies for achieving net zero carbon.

There will be a Q&A session after the presentations.
