Planning Approval Granted for New Center Parcs Scottish Borders Development
Edmond Shipway is delighted to confirm that full planning approval has been granted today by Scottish Borders Council for the highly anticipated Center Parcs Scottish Borders development. The Approval marks a major milestone for the project following months of intensive work to deliver a robust detailed planning application supported by a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment and the incorporation of feedback from extensive community engagement.
With planning secured, our team will now lead the detail design and procurement for this landmark scheme, with an opening of Summer 2029 targeted.
Edmond Shipway will be providing Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy services, delivering the third new village for the UKs leading short break operator since 2014.
The new village will feature:
- Up to 700 units of accommodation
- A wide range of leisure facilities and activities
- Retail and food & beverage outlets
- The Subtropical Swimming Paradise
- An Aqua Sana Forest Spa
