Renowned Nottingham architect passes away

Steve Rayner, the well-known Nottingham architect and founding partner of Rayner Davies Architects, has died.

Steve passed away on Tuesday 2 May.

In a statement, Rayner Davies said: Steve was a kind-hearted and compassionate person who fostered a uniquely warm and friendly atmosphere within the practice. He led by example, working diligently and with integrity, sustaining a loyal commitment to his colleagues that nurtured our talents and brought out the best in us.

“This unexpected tragedy has shocked us all, Steve will be sincerely missed. We offer our condolences and support to his wife Katy and family as we all mourn our great loss.

“Steve’s presence will be felt as we continue his good work delivering buildings and places for people to live, work and enjoy.”
